"Mill cottage is a very cosy and comfortable cottage in a quiet and peaceful village just a pity could not stay longer The cottage was perfectly clean and very well equipped The welcome pack was very much appreciated as we didn’t arrive until late on but Alastair the owner had heating on and outside light on for us arriving Very accommodating host"

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"We had an amazing stay, loved the atmosphere and the view from the property, the pictures don’t quite capture how cozy it was. The garden is fenced and chicken wire all around so was very secure for our pet. we would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends "

"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. "We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, well stocked and on a quiet street. The host communicated before our arrival and the details and instructions were easy to understand. The cottage was less than a 10 minute walk to the town square. A bit of a hill coming back to the cottage but not difficult at all. Hebden Bridge is a beautiful village and when we come back, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Nic!"

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...
