Was only a short stay for us as we had come up to see family, but we’ll come again for a longer stay and do some walking.Alex - the owner - was fab with comms and answered all our questions.Lovely and clean, had everything we needed. Even milk and a welcome pack of choccy biccies, thank you Alex!Towels provided as well."

"Outstanding!! Place is lovely and comfy and well decorated. Kitchen and house is well stocked and views are nice. Parking next door is restaurant car park is easy. Communication and access was easy and good. "

"a great place to stay, modern clean and as described. had everything you need, a great rural location, the local pub in the village served good food. The property was used for a business workshop/ meeting inc business lunch at the local pub. Turns out its cheaper to book a great place like this for 3 nights than pay for a meeting room in a Hotel for 2 nights and use their meeting facilities for 2 days!"

"Super cute house in a quaint, hilly area! The host was very responsive and super nice. The hot tub was clean and warm and the house felt very comfortable in general, being well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies, games, towels, and bedding. I thought it was adorable and a cozy stay for a few days. I would definitely go back to explore the local area and hiking more. "

"What a lovely cottage, so peaceful with lots of walks. The cottage is well equipment spaceful yet feels cosy. John was a lovely host. Will be going back"

"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. The view is spectacular and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It’s easy access to motorways, but feels miles away. Yvonne was a responsive, gracious host. "We had an amazing stay, loved the atmosphere and the view from the property, the pictures don’t quite capture how cozy it was. The garden is fenced and chicken wire all around so was very secure for our pet. we would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends "

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"The room was clean. The location is excellent. It 5mins walk from chinatown and a lot of amazing food over there. Right downstair is a starbucks and a supermarket. I will come back here next time in manchester"

"The whole appearance of the hotel reflects its history. The room and bathroom was tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, i was able to store my bag after checkout until i was ready to catch the train. The dinner menu is limited hiwever thr food was tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and again tasty. I was able to get wifi in public areas but stuffled in my room, however i hasn't staying there for long. "

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Motel One

"Hotel was perfectly placed for Piccadilly station and the city centre. The hotel was very nice, well furnished in the public areas. The room was a good size for a single occupant. The room was clean and comfortable. Kettle was provided for tea and coffee. The breakfast provided was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming for a short stay in Manchester."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean with great facilities and an extremely comfortable bed. The dining / bar area was relaxing with great food and fantastic service. Breakfast had many options available and was good value for money. I would definitely stay here again "

Beautiful Hotel

"Hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to main amenities.. The staff are very smart and attentive, particular thanks to Gary who is wonderful we got a lovely welcome from the him when we arrived. Also Kyan looked after us on reception. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Room was comfy and good facilities. We used the Spa which is really nice with a good sized pool. Would definitely recommend."
