"I have stayed at the Field Guide about 10 times over the past 4 years. It is a quaint and cozy spot with genuinely helpful staff. The gem of the location is the first floor of the main lodge, which features several large living room spaces with fireplaces. People solo or in groups make use of these comfortable spaces to read, play games, enjoy each other’s company. The bar area features a small menu with a selection of food and drinks. "Green Mountain Inn is very nice. Lots of stairs. There's an elevator but we still had stairs to our room. Patrick and Eric at the front desk were wonderful but Laura was a challenge. Checking in and out of the room took far too long because Laura is challenged. Other staff are very polite."
