"I was blown away by this hotel. The staff were like family and so lovely and friendly, the breakfast was freshly cooked every day to individual tastes, the room was amazing and lovely and clean. The only thing I would recommend is a good pair of earplugs (although you will prob need these anywhere in Quito), as the drivers like to honk their horns a lot! But my earplugs worked fine and I had a wonderful stay. "

"The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three."

"We had a wonderful time at the Swissotel! It was a perfect place to relax after a trip to the Galapagos. We had the added bonus of sharing the hotel with the Barcelona Soccer (Football) team. "The suite is nearly as big as my house. It's beautifully furnished, in a relatively quiet area and the staff is excellent. There was a stocked refrigerator and kitchen. We were able to cook great breakfasts. There are plenty of choices if you prefer not to cook, as well. They provided 6 liter bottles of water daily! This is an absolute must when visiting the equator. Old Town was easily reached on foot or by taxi. "
