"Perfect for a lone traveller with some mobility issues to have a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Useful supplies of milk, tea coffee and a Nespresso machine. Toiletries supplied for the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. A guide book to the cottage contained lots of useful information to the cottage and surrounding area. It was a very relaxing couple of days and I hope to be back next year. Thank you Claire for making it so pleasant."

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"

"The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. "

"The cottage lovely and is just what you need as a home from home. It is very clean and warm. My family enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery and the dining room especially has beautiful lighting. "Property is well equipped and comfortable, in a stunning location at the bottom of the valley. Beautiful walks from the door. Visiting the on-site and fascinating Vindolanda roman ruins and museum is an absolute must when visiting here (this is not dog friendly). "Property was brilliant area excellent as I know it well being from Walker originally.Could not fault the cottage apart from the obviously inflated price for Sam Fender concert. As a Geordie this didn't go down too well. A must if you are a visitor to the area as it is set in an idyllic and central area for almost everything worth visiting in Newcastle area and beyond."
