"We enjoyed our room. The location was perfect. The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Perhaps put the refrigerator on a short table as its small size makes it more of a table top item and it was a bit of a trip hazard on the way to the bathroom. There is plenty of room to put in a small sitting area without crowding the room, as well. "

"Warm welcome by Victor the owner's son. Comfortable bedroom with private balcony. The private grounds and hotel facilities are beautifully maintained. Lovely swimming pool. On our last evening we enjoyed an excellent and memorable dinner prepared by Nancy. The hotel is a short walk away from the lively town square of Maussane with some welcoming restaurants and open-air dining. On Sunday May 19th we watched a delightful display of local horse-riding skills in the town centre."

"A little off the beaten path, the quiet Le Madaleno was exactly what we needed for our first stay in the south of France. The hosts were friendly and extremely welcoming people - even putting up with my abysmal attempts at speaking French. The pool was clean and inviting - much appreciated in the midst of a heat wave. The breakfast food and pizza dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. "
