"The location is good, just an easy walk to the village. Kitchen is functional and stocked well for cooking and dining. Common space was decent for the three of us, though a bit small. Toilet room is ridiculously small. Only one partial roll of toilet paper was supplied. Only one towel per guest was supplied, no hand or other wash towels. "Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works....

"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"What an incredible place to stay. The view doesn’t get any better than this. It was a little slice of heaven relaxing by the pool and staring at the sea. This place is a short drive to old Nice and the beaches, providing a place to rest after playing all day. We can’t say enough good stuff about Rose. She’s friendly, generous, and very helpful. She met us as we arrived and made sure we were settled in properly. She was always available to answer questions and even brought us mini croissants...

"Our family of three had a wonderful week at Aurore’s place. Our nearly-three-year-old had so much fun swimming in the pool and chasing the chicken. We enjoyed meals on the terrace with a wonderful view, and felt so safe and calm in the space. It worked very well with a little one. He took the downstairs bedroom and the adults were up. The pool was always secured at night and the cottage is very suitable for children. Aurore had a ton of extra baby items for us to use which made it even easier!...

"We had two weeks at this wonderful Gite hosted by a wonderful couple - Brigitte and Thierry. They were very welcoming and their Gite was perfect for three of us, very tastefully decorated and set in an olive grove, lovely to sit and relax in. There was plenty see and do in the region too - a great location for a holiday."

"Right from the start we were welcomed! The house was lovely and clean with all amenities needed and the pool wonderful. So close to Gordes - an easy 0.6km walk up to the centre.
