"Clean and organized cottage, everything you need for a pleasant stay. Just be aware no wifi and no cell phone reception inside the house and poor reception outside (Verizon). There is a couple of miles to drive on unpaved and at time rough terrain but we did not have problems with our minivan.Great location right in front of the river. "We had a wonderful getaway weekend at this beautiful kept from house. It’s an excellent destination for a getaway weekend and also not too far from JMU, Harrisonburg. If you need to disconnect, like hiking and the outdoors, then this is the perfect place to stay It is a trip with all necessary amenities. I recommend bringing some groceries as there are not too many options nearby especially if you want to do extravagant cooking. we love to come back!"
