There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. "My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!"

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "We stayed here for a family wedding nearby. This is by far the nicest house we have rented. We wanted to stay longer! Beautiful, very clean home. "

"Check-in instructions very easy to follow. The home is recently renovated, had a gorgeous view and was very clean. It’s an easy 10-15 min drive to the entrance to Skyline Drive. The chalet and especially the kitchen were well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing get away. Although it’s a newly listed property, it obvious the hosts are experienced and were very gracious! Would highly recommend this property! "

"My family and I loved staying at this house. It had everything you could ever need. The beds were very comfortable, the living areas spacious, and the deck very expansive. The solo stove was a nice amenity to have. The check-in process was very easy and the recommendations for nearby activities and food were excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"

The Great Escape, near everything but off the beaten path.

"Such a nice getaway and so very cozy. We spent the weekend here as a getaway following our wedding. It was a quiet area and the layout was great for me with mobility issues and the yard is incredible and a great place for dogs, we had our service animals with us and the amenities they provided for dogs were great too. We will definitely try to stay again."
