"The house was very clean and the instructions were perfect. There was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The gas log fireplace was perfect since it was cold and rainy. "

"Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river."

"Enjoyed the river views and barge traffic while staying warm and cozy indoors. Perfect size for a family of four. Close to grocery but remote enough to have a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Jason was a good communicator and responsive when needed."

"This little cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house was warm and had everything we needed. The refrigerator had water, condiments if needed. I slept just as good as if I was sleeping in my own bed. Great place to stay."
