"The Tiskilwa Inn is nicely restored mansion originally built in 1848. It has 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished in the finest style. Our first night we were the only guests so it felt like our own private stately home. I want to go back so I can stay in each of the other four rooms."

"This house had absolutely everything we needed for our 2-day stay to visit family in Washington. Within walking distance to unique shops and cafes. Immaculately clean, very well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Plenty of parking space in a safe environment. We plan to stay here for future visits to Washington if it's available. Highly recommend this beautiful cozy home!"

"We had a great stay! The space was perfect for our family of 10. We liked having the main floor bed room for grandparents and a nice large dining space for Thanksgiving. "Ah, these girls graduated in 1975 so our version of “partying” was a little different 50 years ago! But we found the house to be well stocked and furnished nicely. Comfortable beds and really nice bathrooms! Did not use the hot tub …but thot it might be nice to add a table and chairs outdoors…but otherwise the property met our needs and was very spacious!"
