"The Lake Hotel is located next to a beautiful lake and in a National park. The views are stunning. Waking up here every morning was a treat. The staff, facilities and food are all great too! The dinner at the restaurant was unexpected. It was one of our best meals in Ireland. We will definitely come back! "

"I very much liked my room and the location was second to none. I sat at one of the tables outside of the Welcome Inn Pub. I sat for one minute, finishing a tea and readying to go in for a pint. The bartender? Manager? Owner? Came out yelling at me to get out of the seat and “ this isn’t a picnic area” when I told him I was going to go in for a pint and that I live upstairs'—he told me “to get lost and we don’t want you here”. Really foul experience. Around two in afternoon. "

"Parking instructions, I hope, have improved since our stay. Basically, there’s a road about 5 stores to the right (facing) of the property and that is where you turn to get into the parking lot. GPS will send you to the other side of the church which is incorrect. "

"This was a great place to stay. Well priced and very central."

"Good clean hotel in the heart of Killarney town. Only downside : room was not ready atvthe time of check in and we had to wait one hour in the lobby. Also don't get fooled by a message from hotels.com showing in the app under the booking a day before the stay commenced saying :" this property requires you to stay longer. Try adding more nights or choosing a different property for your stay" this is not true and when I rang the hotel they did not confirm same. I found that misleading. Good hotel,...

"Great location for Cork airport. I walked to the terminal. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. TV channel selection kept crashing and I had to restart the tv. The air conditioning controller didn’t heat to a comfortable temperature and I switched it off in the end. Otherwise a great stay."
