"What a quaint little B&B. Stayed in the George Washington Room. Nice comfortable beds. Excellent star worthy breakfast they bring you in their cafe. If you need options due to allergies or food intolerance, Kit and Gary will take care of it. The staff is very kind and always helpful. True southern hospitality. OMG the biscuits though.....what I would give to get those again. 5* and its an honest 5*."

"Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! We were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

"Overall, this was a very nice stay for me. I was just in town for one night, and this kept me close to downtown and right next to a nice coffee shop to fuel up in the morning. My only inconvenience was that there was no wifi for my use. Stephen was responsive, but we missed connections because I was away from the room until late in the evening. After I left, it turned out that a power strip was turned off, but it was too late to be of use to me. Again, I would recommend this room for others....

"We arrived at the bed and breakfast at 7:00 pm after a very long day of travel and were told she had cancelled our room so at the very last minute we had to scramble and find something else ended up having to add anothe Mr 2 hours on to our already long day of travel. When will I be reimbursed for the room we never got ?"

"It was perfect. Breakfast was great. Comfortable bed. Clean. Host very helpful and friendly. My sister and I In our mid sixties are from Logan wva we wanted a memory trip a step back in time no disappointments there swinging on the porch looking and looking at the mountains felt like I was visiting family. If your looking for somewhere for your kids to step back in time what a treat. You. Can feed the chickens watch the ducks walk to barn or just be outside Fire.pit hot dogs and roast...

"the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. "
