"I enjoyed our stay very much overall. The property itself is very good and the staff is exceptional. I personally didn’t care for the location of the hotel. While nothing was extremely far away, restaurants were limited unless you wanted to walk 10-15 minutes. Last time I was in Kyoto we stayed at a small hotel in Gion, which was just more convenient for us, given our particular needs. "

"Fantastic apartment-style room. We (2 adults, 2 kids - 8&10) had lots of space. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own beeakfast most days. The hotel had small appliances that we could borrow such as toaster and rice cooker. Laundry on site was quick and efficient. We could not have asked for a better hotel. The location was not ideal in that it was not very close to much of the shopping areas (eg. Nishiki market is about a 15-20 min walk). There is a grocery store across the street as well...
