"Every two weeks I travel to my property in Italy and Basle is the perfect midway point from Calais so to find the Carathotel in the perfect location just off the motorway with a large free car park is fantastic.Always friendly staff (even during Covid)large rooms with the very much appreciated bathtub.But as others have mentioned the breakfast choice and quality is my main reason for staying there. I think it offers incredible value for money also."

"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. "A really lovely stay. We were welcomed and shown our room. We explored the area, which is beautiful, and then ate in the hotel restaurant. Food was traditional German and very nice. Breakfast was good. We booked a second night whilst we were there. All staff that we saw spoke brilliant English. "
