"The inside was nice, fresh, and clean. It was exactly as pictured, with minimal furnishings. It was nice having two bathrooms, one on each floor. However, the downstairs shower knobs were covered with a plastic bag. It didn’t affect us much as we were a family of 3. "Family and two dogs traveled from Maryland to celebrate my Grandmother’s 90th birthday in DuQuoin. Perfect place for our family and dogs to unwind after a long drive. Very clean. Had everything we needed. I honestly do not know if there was a lakefront. We were on the move when we weren’t sleeping. "

"We enjoyed this tiny house during our stay. It’s clean, dog-friendly with a fenced patio and within a 20-30 minute drive to the surrounding popular hiking and nature sight-seeing spots. The town itself is very small and you’ll need to drive a little ways for restaurants and groceries. The mercantile shop directly next door is very cute and a great spot to get coffee, Ice cream and local goods. Would recommend for a family of four (like us) or smaller. "

"This house is on a corner and located in a quiet neighborhood. This listing is a true find. We will stay here every time we come to Paducah! The listing is exactly as described. "My husband and I stayed with our dog at this property and had a wonderful time! We have been to the trail many times during peak season, but decided we wanted to do something a little more lowkey and bring our dog. We spent quite a bit of time in the house, reading, watching TV cooking, and all of the amenities that we needed were there. Communication with the property owner, Steve, was also very easy and he was very responsive.Would recommend this cozy home! "

"My family stayed here for a short winter holiday. The house is older, but very well maintained. Kitchen and bathrooms clean and well stocked. The location on the lake is ideal. More than adequate room around the pool table for a fun game. Highly recommend"

"We watched sunsets and paddled kayaks when at the house. Daily we hiked trails at Garden of the Gods, Ferne Cliffe, and Giant City. House was roomy. We were fine with 1 bath because only 3 of us.Host was great."

"This house was very nice and had great amenities. The owners left wood for you to use both inside and down by the lake in a wheelbarrow. The bedrooms were very nice and the king beds made everyone's stay comfortable. The only problem was the bed upstairs was very, very high but other then that the property was very nice, great for fishing and the little beach area was very nice. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. "
