"Wow.... we were blown away when we first arrived at the Villa even though we arrived during a big storm! We stayed over Christmas and New Year with my parents and my teenage boys and we all had a wonderful time. "Great accomodation and location, very quiet beach. But poor service. Staff, especially in the restaurant and bar, need better training and language skills. Hotel also tried to overcharge for the restaurant bill and had inconsistent policies regarding applying VAT and service charge on top of the bill, this varied between the various menus in the restaurant which is misleading for customers. "

"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. "The Hilltop Boosa is a wonderful find. The rooms are not just big they are huge. very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were both friendly & helpful. We ate here each night and the food was excellent. We borrowed bikes ans were able to explore the local area. Transport was available if we wanted to go further afield. We really could not fault anything about Hilltop and we hope to be able to return"
