"Ella green är ett fantastiskt litet ställe dit du tar dig efter en liten uppförsbacke. Vi hade utsikt över skogen med mycket fåglar och några apor. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och bjöd på en god frukost med allt för mycket mat. 10 minuters promenad var vi nere i centrum med affärer restauranger vi stannade 2 nätter och är mycket nöjda med tanke på priset. "I booked with them deluxe room with king bed ocean view, they tried to give me garden view and they were trying to convince me it is the best room in the hotel, my friend discovered that the room was garden view, when we told them, they took us to an ocean view room with with single beds, they tried to put the 2 beds togethers with 2 Matterses with 2 covers. "Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. The on site food is delicious - the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was generous and was served outside in the garden. They can provide...

"Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. "
