"Went above and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable. Staff were so friendly. Room was clean and beds comfortable. During our stay we had a lovely walk around the gardens with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed a very tasty 3 course meal on the evening and breakfast was great. Would highly recommend and will certainly be visiting again. "

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We loved going down to the pool and Spa in out bathrobes, although it was a little odd having to walk the whole length of the bar. Never had to do that before. The staff were very friendly. The food mostly good, just one problem on the first night when there was not enough sauce, which meant the food was rather dry and difficult to swallow. I was offered an alternative sauce immediately. The room was lovely and clean and kept warm with the use of an oil fired radiadtor. We were there in January and the weather was quite cold. We would stay there again."

"A quiet hotel in the middle of a golf course, easy to reach and friendly staff. Excellent traditional breakfast and comfortable beds. Property itself a little tired but that’s probably part of the charm. Delighted to have been upgraded. I’d recommend for the area. "

"Excellent location, great facilities - was lovely to have a fridge in the room. The staff were all fantastic and we really appreciated the reception staff giving us plates/cutlery/condiments for food in our room. Huge thanks to Anna on reception for contacting me and keeping my medication safe when I left it behind. Overall a really pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area. "
