"Lodge was adequate for our needs as a base for two day trips to Alton Towers. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were great but the living areas and kitchen need some upgrades as the sofas and dining chairs very uncomfortable due to over use. The kitchen was adequate - however the hob didnā€™t work the oven wasnā€™t easy to use and there was a dishwasher which was listed so we didnā€™t bring tablets for that and donā€™t expect to find a dish cloth to clean or wash dishes."

"A lovely little hut in a perfect location. Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didnā€™t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good. Lots of places Iā€™ve visited for the same price (and less!) on Vrbo have added in fresh bread, butter, orange juice and even Prosecco...
