"We had good communication with Chai. She sent us info on trails, beaches and restaurants. We rented the cabin for one week but unfortunately we were called away to a family emergency so we stayed there only few hours. We were disappointed an attempt was not made by owner to refund the cost of cleaning. Here are some of the issues we had with the cabin: -Tiny bedrooms, the master has no closet and no dresser (only place to store clothes is on the chair next to the bed). -Awkward layout, two...

"Great place. Had everything you could ever need. I only stayed 2 nights but could’ve made the room work for a week. They had ants in the bathroom. But no big deal. Area around was a little sketch, but never felt in danger. Asked the front desk for advice on things to do and they “had no clue”. It was also 5mins before they had to leave so I don’t think they wanted to have a conversation. Interactions at check in and out were great. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. No cold cereal options....

"We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Our room was like a nice apartment with the benefit of being close to the gondola, restaurants and live entertainment. The weather was perfect! We had a blast. "

Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village

"The outside has clearly been weathered but don’t let that prevent you from booking it. We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was extremely spacious and nice. Is it like the Marriotts or South Lake Tahoe giant hotels across the street? Obviously not. But for half the price or less, you certainly get a great deal on a place you can walk across to get the same access to food, shopping, and entertainment. Would definitely book again. "

Area around was a little sketch, but never felt in danger. Asked the front desk for advice on things to do and they “had no clue”. It was also 5mins before they had to leave so I don’t think they wanted to have a conversation. Interactions at check in and out were great. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. No cold cereal options. Donuts, toast, fruit and oatmeal. Thats it. Overall for the price it was well worth it and I would stay again. "

Everything you need for an easy stay in SLT

"This place was remodeled nicely, I love the branding and vibe, and the amenities are nice. We took advantage of the heated pool, games in the common house, the cute bar, and complimentary s’mores by the fire pit. Location is excellent, quick walk to the lake and Heavenly village. Quiet area for the most part. Room was comfy, clean, well-designed. Shower and bathroom were very clean. Coffee and electric kettle were perfect for my first cup of coffee in the morning. My only complaint is there was not hand soap provided for the bathroom sink in the room. "
