"There is nothing to dislike about Grims guesthouse it is one our most comfortable stays throughout our trip. Michael the host was very knowledgeable and can make recommendations for your daily activities and what buses to catch. It’s a 5 minute walk to main centre around wharf and shopping, would always recommend this beautiful guesthouse."

"I'm really pleased I chose this place for my visit to Mokpo. I'm also very glad I went to Mokpo. It's a wonderful city! This guesthouse is close enough to almost everything you will want to see and do that you can walk to them. Even the train station is within walking distance. The location is perfect. "A wonderful stay in the countryside. Even though the owner was not there I was looked after fabulously by her parents. They fed me, gave me lifts and were very caring and kind. They spoke little English but we managed perfectly with Google translate! "

"Cosy and well equipped guesthouse with an excellent view of Yeosu city. The guesthouse was very clean and the beddings were sufficient for my family of 4. Simple breakfast (bread, cereal, milk and juice provided) and large common area for meals/relaxation etc. Desktop computers and games were available also. Accessibility will be difficult for those without vehicles as it is located on a small hill. There are steps to climb down/up when entering/leaving the guesthouse, so not that convenient...

"The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a view of the river from our window, which was nice. The back deck area on the river was a bonus, even if we didn't get to use it as we were away hiking most of our stay. It is a little far from town (you have to take a taxi or bus which are difficult to determine schedules for), but it is very near the Haweomsa Temple, the start of our hike. The lady at the front desk was very helpful."

"I booked and paid for this hostel, only to arrive and be told that my room had been given to someone else, and that I must have booked a male dormitory by mistake. Being a woman, I obviously didn't do so. After confirming that I did, in fact, book a non gendered dorm, and that I'd paid, the manager found somewhere else for me to stay for the night.
