"For it to be am older hotel its one of the best ones in southport. Ive been to all of them. On rhe budget side its perfect, its safe, breskfast a few feet away or across the street and the highway is right there. The room is ok for the night. It was clean. The workers were running around making us comfortable. Good parrking. If uou need a spot cheap, this is it. Pool is open and ice machines are clean. No smell in hallways, lobby is nice. Ive been here twice. Under 100 bucks"

"I really liked the location. It was easy to get on and off the interstate where we needed to go, and there were lots of eating places around. I did not like the old air conditioners that turned on and off and are so loud otherwise it was a good stay. "

"Location was great, very close to lots of dining and easy access to all the major highways. The room was clean, but in poor repair. The toilet was unstable due to missing bolts. And I had to take the top off the tank to make it stop running every time I flushed. The walls were quite thin, so I could hear conversations and dogs barking from other rooms. The staff was very nice, but my door key had to be reprogrammed multiple times. "
