"The house was clean and nice for an older structure. It appears that the surrounding land is used for boat storage or something. Didn’t bother us but was unexpected. The house itself was clean and the property owner didn’t bother us which is super nice. We would stay again! "

I think having more than 2 towels and one face cloth per room was a little light. There was also no shampoo, conditioner bath soap. For $1000/night that could have been provided."

"Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! It was great with our dog - very comfortable, not overly precious but still...

"What an amazing, but unfortunately short stay. We had a wedding weekend for a co-worker of mine. It was myself, my husband and my adult son. Walking distance to the venue at the Gardiner House and the Greek Orthodox church, all restaurants, bars, shops & and beach. Location was absolutely fabulous. Unit was immaculate and furnished with everything you would need for a perfect stay! Amanda (Landlord) was extremely responsive. "

"This was a great jumping off point for all of our adventures around Rhode Island (and parts of Massachusetts) - Warren, Providence, Newport, Bristol. So location is wonderful. Is the location loud? During the day - yes, it's a on a popular road. But at night it wasn't terrible - Kathy provides earplugs in case you need them. But we didn't. We walked so many places that were in a 1 mile radius, including some of the historic mansions you can tour. This place was impeccably clean, but the bathroom ceiling needs work. Like most old buildings, you will hear the neighbors above you walking, and the neighbors using the stairs and doors on the other side of the bedroom wall. "This is a great third floor walk up in New Bedford. The apartment was clean and offered a lot of amenities, including laundry. It was also conveniently located to a lot of the tourist sites. I would absolutely stay there again.🙂"
