"We had my 80 yo parents, sister and a family friend. The property was great. I was initially worried about the road noise while sleeping. However, they did a GREAT job with the windows and the insulation- we heard NOTHING... very nice. Kitchen has everything you need. "

"The outside light was burned out, the bedroom was especially dirty. The fan was covered with so much dust you could not use it. The smoke detectors battery compartments were open with batteries in them so they were not working. The bathroom attached to bedroom had no hot water, tepid at best. The bathroom sink needed 3 lightbulbs there was one. No trash can liners or toilet tissue ( I found a third of a roll). This property is old but it seems to me it should be maintained better. "Check-In staff were all excellent; very friendly and personable. Lobby area was clean and presentable. My room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was attentive and friendly. My only negative was the condition of the elevator. It functions, but could use a refresh. I was somewhat disappointed that the continental breakfast was moved to the neighboring hotel. The other time I stayed here the breakfast was in this hotel and it was much nicer than next door. Not a big deal. I really like the location as I can walk to restaurants downtown. I would recommend this hotel to friends (but I would warn them about the elevator lol). "
