"Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. WE definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others who want a quiet scenic getaway cabin overlooking Trail River and the Kenai Mountains. Tom, Charlie and Katmai"

"There were 6 adults and one 16 year old staying at the property. The facilities were perfect for our group. The hot tub was just what was needed at the end of a long, cold day. Girdwood area is beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great location. Next time we go, I'm going to check the opening of the ski resort just minutes away from the rental. It wasn't open when we were in Alaska. It opened days after we left to come home. Beautiful state and location. ...

"Chalet #5 was generally clean, somewhat updated with good windows; furnishings were dated but in good repair and comfortable. The overall finishes were a hodgepodge, no cohesive decorating theme. Good lighting. Bathtub and hot tub were both clean. Nice dishwasher and clothes washer with adequate supplies of detergent. Comfortable bed in master. Areas of concern: Light bulb out in refrigerator. Upstairs bed was creaking which could be heard downstairs. Cobwebs in the master bedroom and above...

"We were blown away with this clean, well stocked house. Everything was perfect and easy. We are warm and comfortable as we cooked and recovered from our outings and enjoyed the easy walks by the lake. Laundry, hot tub, grill… we used them all and carried the bear spray on our walks. I can’t say enough good about this wonderful home "

"My husband and 20 yo son stayed. They said it was set up perfectly for them and would have been fantastic for 2 couples as well. I needed to ship something up to them which was very stressful. Tim and Felicia were great at communicating and made sure they received the package."

"A fantastic, fantastic little a-frame overlooking the river with all the amenities you need inside. We used this as our homebase as we eloped in the Chugach mountains! Highly recommend! "
