"I gave this hotel five stars because of the view. The staff was pleasant, and the place was clean. The bar was good and the drinks were reasonably priced but the restaurant food was inedible. Fortunately, there are a couple restaurants right next-door that are very good. Try Ristorante IL Verricello. "

"Nicest hostel I had ever seen. Really a hotel. Close to old town but far enough to be quiet. Large room and bathroom. Staff was pleasant and professional. Breakfast was huge for Europe: scrambled & boiled eggs, toast, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, vegetables, pastries and sweets, fruit, milk, coffee, juice. Elevator. Few steps. Not fancy but both nice and functional. Some British school groups when we were there. "
