"The property is beyond beautiful. On sloping jungle cliffs, surrounded by verdant rainforest. Incredibly relaxing. Even though it was a torrential rainfall our entire stay (as in a national emergency level rain event), it was incredibly pleasant with Rosa (the GM) and the staff being standouts for their excellent service and attention. The villas are huge and comfortable and also have wonderful vistas of the surrounding area. The black sand beach and salt water pool are just a few of the several nooks and crannies you can walk to across the resort to relax and hang out in. The food and drinks absolutely delicious. Just an absolute joy of a resort. Would give it 6/5 stars."

"Being my first time staying at El Decameron I do wish I knew their rules before driving there. The check in started at 2:30 p.m. Meanwhile we get there early trying to get the most of it since we were only spending one night. The whole checking process does take time to once you enter the resort. Once we settled in we got to take a walk around and enjoy their drinks and pool. Staff are very friendly and food was really good as well. I would definitely go back again. "

"Pros: absolutely beautiful view, and rooms are lovely. The bar next to the lake is great, as well as the property and amenities. Staff and security are very friendly and attentive to their guests. The location and view of the lake can’t be beat 😍 Also, best ceviche ever ! Cons: parking can be tight but luckily most people don’t drive their own vehicles. The rooms could use more lighting fixtures (for vanity mirror) and electric outlets. "

"Very accommodating and professional staff and service on both the AntiResort and Nawi sides. We came in early and were tended to by concierge until our T.H. was ready. Food was delicious, amenities are great, location is gorgeous. Only cons: parking area is pretty tight. There was a private event at Nawi one day so it was closed off, and private guest areas/pool/bar were empty and hardly tended to which could make guests feel left out or not prioritized "
