"My husband and I have always wanted to enjoy Maine in the fall. We couldn’t have been happier with the property and its location. It was perfect for the two of us and the view from the deck was gorgeous!! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Judy was a wonderful hostess as well."

"Charming home, nicely decorated. Nice view of SW Harbor. Close to grocery store, restaurants, Acadia. If you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, you may want to contact the host, though. Great location. We took a ride on a lobster boat, went to Bar Harbor, went to Cadillac mountain, and drove the park loop. We really enjoyed the island and its beauty. "

"The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"

"We had everything we needed for a base camp as we visited a friend and of course spent most of our time exploring Acadia. This was the most economical place we could find and it was a score for sure. Hosts were on site most days and very helpful. Utilized the laundry facility where board games and extra kitchen items were supplied. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be sure to come back! Cheers."

"I truly wish I could have stayed longer. It is a peaceful setting, especially in the mornings at sunrise. We toured Acadia, Bar Harbor, Southwest, and Northeast Harbors. FYI not much was open the last week in October. The house is spotless and well-appointed. The owner provides quality linens, towels, cookware, grill, and grilling tools. Bring your own Shampoo though. The twin room has a TV which we did not use. The King room does not, but it really didn't matter. We watched TV in the living...

"The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities. Unfortunately the microwave did not work and guest service did not about it. Neither did the local contact. Had bought home cooked food and the lack of a microwave was very bad."

"Our family enjoyed the stay, location was great, close drive to all the hikes/activities we wanted to do and away from busy bar harbor. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again if we venture back up to Maine."
