"Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged. The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not. "Our stay at Villas Roseliz in Punta Allen was beyond wonderful. A cute and small hotel mere steps from one of the most beautiful beaches and oceans we have ever seen. Large, very clean rooms and bathrooms off a garden courtyard on the beach. A short walk to anywhere in town which offers a number of restaurants and a couple small convenience stores. "The end of the road, literally:) The house is very comfortable and once we figured out that a bit of bug spray got rid of mosquitoes we were all good. Nikki our local host (she runs a hotel in town) was very welcoming and helpful (lent me a guitar, let us use her own private beach) and Mariano helped us get bikes ready. "While the drive was long and rough, the resort itself and our casita was lovely. Samuel was absolutely amazing in taking good care of us. The food was great. I wish there were more to do in the area, and we wish the beach and water were cleaner in order to swim and walk. Overall it was nice and secluded and we are considering going back. "

"We stayed in the Lirio Room. Though the room is surrrounded by palm trees, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. All paths are sand, and lit up at night. The beach was quiet, not busy, and we did not have trouble locating a tent and beds to use on the beach. There are many vendors but they are not pushy. This is located in the southern hotel zone of Tulum. The most inexpensive restaurants were about $15 American for 1 dish, most average about $25 American per dish. Many vegan options. There is shopping within 5 minutes walk. The shopping is mostly clothing and accessories stores, these stores are "higher end" boutiques with unique bohemian style clothing. Tattoo shops, and dance clubs are close by too. The hotel bathrooms ask that you do not flush toilet paper, or toilets clog. "

"I loved staying here. The staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the beach and DJs. The food was fresh and delicious. The rooms were very cool. I loved the whole layout of the place - the nests and treehouse vibe. We ate at the rooftop restaurant for dinner one night - it was incredible and we saw so many stars. I would definitely recommend and go back myself."

Hotel Shibari Tulum - Restaurant & Cenote Club

"Beautiful hotel. Room could have been cleaner. There were stray hairs (from multiple ppl) on the rug, in the shower, by the pool. Floor felt gritty so i don't think they are swept/vacuumed regularly- I just wore the provided slippers and was ok. But the room was spacious and comfortable with functioning AC, the plunge pool also functioned well. Had to request the outdoor lamps be fixed, and they were. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I rented a Bali Bed but got rained out after only an hour and it wasnt usable the rest of the day- I was approached the next day at breakfast where they offered to set it up again for me since the weather was better. No hassle! Appreciated the complimentary bottle of prosecco and cake left in my room for my birthday too. Restaurant on site was GREAT. Must get the shrimp taco! Hotel is walkable to other great dining options and little boutiques- its right on the strip, but with great security- felt safe on and off property ad a solo female traveler. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at Lula was short but wonderful. The room itself is few steps from the beach which is a big plus. We stayed in the beach side of the property, and the room was bright, clean, and had all the amenities you could need. The location of the hotel is perfect also, far from the noise of all the clubs and dancing restaurants but still in a reasonable walking distance (10/15 min). This place will clearly be my go to in Tulum. "

"This property is very safe and centrally located to all the best restaurants and night life. You have a beach that is literally right outside your door. If you don't mind not having room service and restaurants on premise than this is the right place for you. It's very bohemian and quite a little gem of a hotel right smack in the middle of everything you want and more. Sandra at the front desk is very helpful and had a lot of great recommendations. You also have VIP access to Rosa Negra Beach club which is right next door and Ahau restaurant and hotel that's right down the street( about a 4 minute walk). I highly recommend this hotel and we always look forward to our stay at Casa Ganesh "
