"So I never got check in details, messaged the host several hours before check in. Didn't hear anything. Showed up after check in time no one on the property. Called the host several times, no answer and voice mail was full. As I was walking the property another family showed up they had checked in the day before. While getting on the phone with vrbo the owner showed up and discovered that he had double booked. I am still waiting on his cancellation of my reservation and the return of my money...

"It was what I expected for the most part. Was surprised the windows were frosted so couldn’t see outside. That was strange. But at least they couldn’t see in . Was on a mainStreet so could hear people walking and talking. Expected that but took some getting used to. The bed was super comfy, walk in shower superb. Bedroom doorway was very narrow.frig with freezer was good so I could keep ice."

"We stayed with our pup for the Labor Day weekend and we loved it. The lodge is actually bigger than appears on the pictures. It is located in the walking distance to all restaurants, the Sodus Point beach and only 20-minute drive to Chimney Bluffs. Matthew was very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend it."

Parking was great. Access was easy except front door code is diff from unit code and though I was told front door code was sent to me, I did not see it. We called the ph number we had, they gave us the numbers we needed for access. Would stay again! "

"Don was a gracious host. We had a group of 2 teenagers and 2 adults. The property was beautiful. Don allowed us to pet and feed the alpacas and love on the horses while he explained all their stories of how he got them. He rescues almost all of his animals on the farm. "The property is just as pictured. It was clean and ready for our stay. Jan dropped by shortly after we arrived to touch base with us and provide info which was very much appreciated. She seems to take great pleasure in providing the best stay for her guests. The location on Lake Ontario was ideal and the house was well stocked for a very easy stay.
