"Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem."

"We know the Hotel well as both originate from Skipton and remember it remember it being built. It’s showing its age; food and service was great. Disappointing bar if you like beer and not lager. All draught beers were off. Bed while massive I found hard and uncomfortable but that isn’t a reason not to stay. We were visiting family and it did the job.
