It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. We especially enjoyed relaxing conversations with him after he served sumptuous morning meals. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and quite cozy with a stunning lake view. Highly recommend!!"
