"I stayed in room #232 which was a queen bed, and it was hard as a rock. It was not comfortable at all and I'm not asking for a plush bed. I woke up three times each night as my back and joints were hurting a little. If you have a bad back, and I do not, get another room. The staff were great, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was better than most the motel/hotels. Tamara at the front desk was awesome. The room was clean with no issues. A microwave and fridge was in the room and...

"Older hotel but right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean with balcony. Smoked salmon chowder every night with warm cookies provided by hotel staff. Warmed pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to downtown and shopping. What more can you ask for. As an older widow I felt very secure with locked entrances and staff are all friendly and very helpful. My go to stay in Newport. "
