"Before we had checked in Cherri had emailed us with instructions and told us to call with any questions . The house was very clean. Loved the beach theme. The kids loved the bunk beds. The owner was very kind and left lots of snacks.This was a plus as the closest Walmart was about 30 min. Also wine was provided which I would have indulged in if the kids were not around. The waterfront is not big but the kids were able to kayak for the first time and also was able to catch their first fish. Kayaks were provided by the owners. This is perfect for kids learning to fish and kayak. Also very nice to see the kids face out of an iPad and not watching tv. Fish were very active around sunset . Only wish the property had a washer and drier as the kids got pretty muddy . The neighborhood was quiet and the houses were not too close so we definitely had privacy. .We also had been running late in leaving the property so Cherri was kind enough to let us stay a bit longer . Thanks for allowing us to use your home!"

"This place was absolutely amazing! The RV was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location couldn’t have been better—right off the river with the most beautiful views! We loved spending our evenings by the fire-pit and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities. John & Anne were wonderful hosts, super responsive, and made sure we had a great stay. We had theeee best time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!"

"I love historical hotels and homes and Putnam Lodge is so well maintained with historical details. The staff are very nice and the restaurant is great. The peacocks walking around the yard were an added bonus. "

"The Otter House is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The view of the river is spectacular. My husband fished from the dock the entire stay and caught LOTS of fish. Used nightcrawlers on the bottom. The yard was really nice for the dog. The restaurant down the street had great food. "
