"The apartment was wonderful, though the bunk bed we stayed in was comfortable but creaky. Keep in mind if you stay in that room you must go outside to take a shower in another building. Communication was great and check in and check out very smooth and simple. Very clean and close to bus stops. I would recommend this place if you're looking to stay near Ise Shrine~"

"This was a very nice ryokan, with polite and courteous staff. The location was very good, only a 10-minute walk from the train station, and one of the main Shinto shrines (Geku Jingo) in the area. "Poka Poka village is not a hotel! We were very very surprised hotels.com offered such a strange place. Only part of an old run down building is rented out the rest we did not dare to check afraid of what we would find. Everything is very old and in very bad condition the person atvreception looks scary. Definitely avoid this place! I never ended up in such a place, my daughter was scared."
