There was ample room for a larger party with a gaming area downstairs and a larger sitting area/living room upstairs. There were several comfortable sitting areas, a working fireplace, and blankets stashed throughout the house. "My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road...

"This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. "

High end touches and a lot of thought went into this retreat. It was peaceful, clean,comfortable. We did not use the upstairs bed and bath.But the downstairs king bed and rain shower were awesome. The view is as incredible as depicted on this site and the area is quiet and relaxing. We all slept well and enjoyed cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen. "This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows while Eagles are flying up above them. Thank you for sharing this Eagle’s Nest home. 😊"

"Good place for two couples to get away for a few days - for us it was a holiday vacation with friends and we felt the layout of the cabin was conducive to together time as well as separate bedrooms/baths if you wanted more personal space. In warmer months there is a large deck and screened porch for even more space. Appreciated the access to the Fitness Center and nearby hiking trails. Communication with host was excellent. "
