"The owner was first class and willing to help with carrying my luggage etc. The property is on a busy side street. With major gas works being carried out during my stsy. This work caused the footpath to be closed which meant i had to cross the road and dodge the traffic and the parked cars ( i am waiting for a replacment knee so i found it difficilt, in swapping footpaths) but dont be put off with this the work is due to be finished in two weeks. The property is only a short walk to the beach...

"Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves."

"Well worth the price. We had a lovely two night stay as visiting Bridlington Spa for a UB40 gig. Breakfast was included and trust me, if you want a breakfast to set you up for a day exploring, the breakfast is Huge. Host and staff we met were lovely and friendly. Its clear there are some improvments being made to the place, but overall and for the price we paid it is perfect. Its perfect location is set just round the corner of everything you could possibly need."

"We booked in for one night as we were visiting Filey for a family event. It was a short drive from Filey to the B&B. The place itself is set on the street in the town near some pubs and local shop etc. which is convenient as there is no lunch/dinner service. "It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. "We have had a great October break. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Ideal location to walk the coast into Brid and back (land train optional). Short distance to Filey. " Cosy cottage, great garden sitting area and right on the quiet high street. Really appreciated the complimentary Sewerby Hall tickets. Sewerby itself is ideally situated with Flamborough Head 10 mins dtive away and Bridlington within walking distance. Great!"
