It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. "This was a cute unit. It’s an older property so everything creeks, but part of the charm. Very very noisy people on the second floor, but that wasn’t the rental companies fault. Rate was good, but fees were extremely high. I’ve never seen the fees higher than the nightly rate and I use VRBO all the time. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The place was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller looking for a private getaway on a lake. Cozy but just the right size for a single traveller or a couple. Directions to the lakefront could have been a little clearer -- I went to the wrong dock initially! But that's more my fault than the host's. Loved hearing the loons at night and being able to chill on the front porch. I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Check in was a breeze; it was very cold outside but the house was warm and welcoming. On arrival, the house was immaculate and had everything we could need. The beds and pillows are insanely comfortable!! Communication with the owner was seamless. We knew she was there if we needed anything but our space was very private. The location is perfect to enjoy Schroon Lake! Walking distance to almost everything the town has to offer!! "

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the view of the lake is beautiful. It was very clean and had all the conveniences that you could want.
