"The cabin was amazing. We skied Gore mountain 2 days. The drive was maybe 15 min. We appreciated the full kitchen set up. After full days of skiing we appreciated, relaxing by the fire and cooking. The waterfall behind the cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We would def stay here again. "

Easy drive to Gore Mountain!Cathy was an excellent host, and the check-in and check-out were convenient and stress-free.Close to the road and truck traffic therefore some car noise noticeable at night. The heating equipment making some weird noise when starting maybe get it checked out. "

"A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. "

"Arrived around 5 on Saturday. Great location. Once I figured out how to open key holder, we moved in. We enjoyed our cabin, found the information folders helpful. We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed."

"Great, comfortable little cottage. The owner has thought to supply just about everything you could need. It was clean and fresh. There was an area wide power outage when we arrived due to a big storm. The owner had taken the time to hook up a generator so we had a light and power to the refrigerator. Power was back on in a couple of hours. We would absolutely stay there again. Our dog absolutely loved the front deck overlooking a view of the lake through the trees."
