"This place is amazing! The water slide and all the pools are incredible! The landscaping is a classy beautiful tropical garden and it lent privacy to the rooms. "We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and setting. However - beware of hidden charges. We booked a family suite for a 2 night stay through Expedia. "We LOVED our stay at Arenal Gardens! The view of Arenal Volcano and lake was spectacular!! It was very peaceful and had plenty of space. "This is place to be in if you are a nature lover. This place is so serene and peaceful. The staff especially, Emel and Carlos took care of us so dearly. We felt as if we are home and they really took care of whatever we need. However, you need all wheel drive to get to Monteverde and also to this Hotel. That was the only hiccup we had. "The property is beautiful and true farm to table dining but therefore a limited menu. The private cassitas are lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and private patio. However the bed creaked getting in and out and whenever you moved and the mattress was so hard I barely slept. The hot tub was too scalding hot to actually enjoy but the setup was stunning. "

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"This was a cozy cabin located in a very cute property. We loved taking our breakfast in the porch to watch the ducks and fish. We had a really lovely stay!! I want to highlight some things that I do wish we had known in advance to feel more prepared though, as the cabin was more rustic than what the listing portrayed. There were only two of us, but it’s worth noting that the sofa bed was in the front living room area, and the AC was located in the bedroom and worked best with that door closed....
