"Staff were friendly and helpful. Building seemed old (elevator kind of scared me). Tub did not drain but they fixed that the same day I called about it. Pool was not heated but I’m sure that is not usually an issue in FL. Breakfast was passable. Decently clean place. Again, staff were great. "

"I liked that Inn on the Lakes isn’t a branded hotel chain. It was a step back into old Florida without being tacky or rundown. We even had real keys for the door. The desk staff was courteous and professional and the room, while not amazing, was sufficient for our needs and comfortable. I wish I had upgraded to a lake view room, but we were limited by budget on this trip. The view is very picturesque. "

"Ok at best. The location (2 Mako Dr.) was fine, but the AC failed the 1st night and the cottage was 88 degrees. Maintenance fixed it quickly, but the next day I received a call that another maintenance person was in the cottage (while I was away) and didn't see a issue. The bath towels were horrible (see through) and their was no soap, but I did appreciate having a washer and dryer. Lastly, check in and check out was awkward as everyone seemed busier on the phone. "We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly. We were not able to check in until 8:00 p.m. when check in is at 4:00 p.m. and the staff worked with me and were extremely nice. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable and the pillows are comfortable as well! "
