"Lovely setting, room was immaculate with a view of the lake and the formal gardens. We found the bed and pillows quite firm but cannot fault the accommodation. We ate in the castle view restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was fantastic and great cocktails which we thought were good value. Castle access is included in the stay but due to bed weather the castle and attractions did not open on the Sunday which was our plan for the day. Quite disappointed to have missed out. "

A single door but entrance on the street but reception via the bar next door makes access confusing and difficult to spot from the road as you arrive in the car.
