"The property's grounds are beautiful, the Keirland mall is next door within walking distance and has nice shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself needs a renovation in the rooms, lobby, and the restaurants are below grade for this type of hotel. I think there is only one main dining room that is blah. The coffee bar is nice but needs a facelift. The lounge needs a complete renovation and some music."

"We stayed for two nights/one day at the Phoenician with our 4 and 6 yo kids. The reason my overall rating is not excellent is because the splash pad, waterslide and whirlpools were all broken the day we were there. The splash pads and whirlpools did get going midafternoon, but the waterslide remained out of order. The games room was available and we played some foosball, pool and air hockey, but two of the 4 arcade games were out of order. When travelling with two young kids....what else are you...
