We wanted a getaway close by because we only have one day off together a week but we wanted a nice, romantic place to celebrate our four year wedding anniversary. The Cottage was affordable and very pretty in the pictures and I would have been so happy with the basics but the host went above and beyond filling the place with amenities and details to make the stay amazing. As is common in N California, the smell of mildew was very prevalent in the bathroom and bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. But we loved being able to walk just down the street and walk the dunes and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was easy to locate and a good starting point for our visits with family."
