"Brilliant small bed and breakfast for a stay right in the centre of Newport. Clean quiet and run by friendly people, and ideally located to explore town and the wharfs on foot. Amazing breakfasts too! Wonderful fresh home cooking every morning. Car park is a five minute walk away on foot but that is the only thing to note. "

"This was the perfect place to stay in Newport. It was just far enough outside of the busy downtown area yet walkable to it in the nice fall weather. Being steps away from the cliff walk was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the garden suite which had a massive jacuzzi tub with fireplace and tv. We’ll definitely be staying here again!"

Location was central and walkable to Cliff Walks and Thames St shops and dining as well as the Bellevue Ave. shopping district. My only complaint is 10AM checkout, which is earlier than any place we've ever stayed. That said, would absolutely stay here again "

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
