"From the moment we booked the property, until we left we had a great stay. Chris, the property manager, was great, he even gave us recommendations on where to eat. The property is located right off the Main Street so it’s a quick walk to the main downtown area or a 20 min walk to the mansions. The place comes with parking which is a plus for Newport. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
