"Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. "

"The property has the most outstanding views of Lake Lucerne and is situated in a remote spot on the edge of a quiet village. Beautiful area. The garden and hot tub are not well maintained, with the garden being quite overgrown and not as per photos. View from ground floor bedroom was obscured by plants that need to be cut back. Third bed (made of pallets) wasn’t made up on arrival and no linen in the property to allow us to do it ourselves. Owner was quick to reply to my message, but no apology...

Loved seeing all the sheep and cows every morning, the views of the mountains and waterfalls right at our doorstep. "We stayed at Anita’s place for five days! We loved it and didn’t want to leave ever! It’s hard to say what was better: Anita or the flat! The flat had everything you could need, with a large bedroom, well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor space with amazing views of the mountains and gondolas. The unit is conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal (train station & Eiger Express) & a 1-2 minute walk to local bus routes 21 & 23 to get you to the heart of town, so it's very accessible if you're traveling on public transportation systems. It's just far enough from the busy City center, but very easy to get to...
