"This house had ample room for everyone, and was right on the main road with the bus to Grindelwald. The beds were comfortable, and we had a room unlocked for us so that each person could have their own room. We appreciated the large dining room table and kitchen that had all we needed. Note: the garbage bags are under the Oven but we did not know that. Also we learned after our exit that we were to take all of our recycling with us when we left and drop it off at different places in the town....

The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). "We loved the home and the location. We were able to travel easily and conveniently to all the great places in the region. The hosts were friendly and easy to work with. The kitchen was easy to use and having three bathrooms was a huge plus. We would definitely stay there again."

"The property has the most outstanding views of Lake Lucerne and is situated in a remote spot on the edge of a quiet village. Beautiful area. The garden and hot tub are not well maintained, with the garden being quite overgrown and not as per photos. View from ground floor bedroom was obscured by plants that need to be cut back. Third bed (made of pallets) wasn’t made up on arrival and no linen in the property to allow us to do it ourselves. Owner was quick to reply to my message, but no apology...

The unit is conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal (train station & Eiger Express) & a 1-2 minute walk to local bus routes 21 & 23 to get you to the heart of town, so it's very accessible if you're traveling on public transportation systems. It's just far enough from the busy City center, but very easy to get to...
