"Cleanliness is very good due to commitment of Breakfast, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff (consider that this property is pet friendly [dogs] at the time of our stay). All staff were very courteous, friendly, informative and dedicated to their work at this enjoyable property. Noticed that all guests were respectfully quiet through nighttime hours, too. "This is a great non-chain motel/hotel option in Salida. The rooms have been refreshed with great updated bathrooms! There were apparently satellite troubles when we were there and the front desk didn't know how to reset the TV so we had no TV - either for the evening or the next morning. This also seemed to slow down WIFI or WIFI was just a bit slow. Overall would be happy to try them again. "

"The property was recently sold and i feel they were not quite ready for quest .amenities were poor .The room was quiant but there were no hangers or alot of space to put things .This property has great potential. The new owners were working daily on improvements .The closest dining is in salida which is about 15 minutes from the property."

"Wow - the views from this property are stunning. The river is so peaceful, we sat by the fire pit, swung in hammocks and enjoyed the sound of the rushing water from the warmth of the hot tub and looking up at the brilliant stars! Our family corn hole competition in the lush green grass and lazy afternoon relaxing on the deck were just what we needed for our family getaway. The kitchen is well stocked with every kitchen appliance we needed. We will definitely come back during a different season...
