"This is a nice, small family owned hotel. It is small but met our needs well (a couple, no kids). Bed was comfortable, room was clean, bathroom is very small but shower had great pressure. Breakfast was basic continental (toast, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit) but there were breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved in room. Plenty of coffee ! There was a large family staying and it was a little noisy with people moving between rooms but they quieted down at a reasonable time and there was no noise during the night. We were on the back side of hotel and we did not hear traffic from nearby road. This was a great stay for a quick trip to Salida. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here as a base to go up and ski at Monarch. This worked out great. The hotel pool was my grand sons favorite. Our rooms were in great shape. And there are many options for dinner or breakfast in town. My wife said the people of Salida were so kind in all the shops she went to."

"We absolutely love Mt. Princeton and go as often as we can. We love it best in the winter with just adults and then bring the kids in the summer. Comfortable accommodations always, but this time we rented a cabin for the first time and it was so worth it! "
