"We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Maureen was very communicative and helpful, working with us to avoid some bad weather and staying in touch throughout our stay. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The cabin is in a perfect position to ski at monarch mountain and still make a trip into salida if you want to without much travel time. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very roomy with everything you’d need. Overall it was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our ski trip! "Very well maintained and clean cabin, and our host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, and the privacy of the cabin. Outside of the master bedroom is a stream you can hear at night while sleeping. We had everything we needed and our kids are already asking to stay there again for future ski trips to Monarch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"As we drove down the road we took notice of all the nearby cabins and none have the views this one does. Incredible views and we got the “frequent visitors” our last morning there. Place is clean and can get really toasty if you want it to with the fireplace and heating. Fire pit and hot tub were great for the winter weather while we were there. Definitely will stay again. "

"We came to this home a week before Thanksgiving and we got to live our winter wonderland dreams. Just enough snow that the kids were able to sled and build snowmen the whole trip, but not enough snow to keep us snowed it. Not too far from town, but very peaceful.This home is a place we want to come back and see during Spring/Summer. "

"Our family had a great time with our stay. Just a few short miles away from Monarch. Accommodations we perfect. Beautiful property set up on the mountainside. Lots of great memories to take away. Dont take recommendation off having tire chains lightly. You'll need them in the winter. Luckily walmart had a set. Would 100% stay again. Only complaint is that itbwas scorching hot inside when we arrived and we all had a hard time sleeping the first night. Other than that, it was perfect."
